Terms of Use
Last updated: 23 June 2026
These terms apply when you use the Drift website, including the venue directory. Drift is the wedding and events planning business operated by Elise Pope in New Zealand. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
What Drift is
Drift offers wedding and events planning services, and a directory of New Zealand event venues to help you find a starting point. The directory is provided for general information.
Using the site
You may use the site for your own lawful, personal planning. Please do not copy the directory in bulk, scrape it, disrupt the service, or use it in a way that breaks the law or infringes someone's rights.
Directory information
The venue information is compiled from publicly available sources and is offered on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee that it is accurate, current, or complete. Details such as capacity, pricing, and accessibility can change. Always confirm directly with a venue before you rely on its details or make a booking.
No endorsement
A venue appearing in the directory is not an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of its quality, availability, or pricing. Any dealings you have with a venue are between you and that venue.
Enquiries and planning services
Sending an enquiry through the contact form does not create a contract. If you go on to engage Elise for planning, those services are covered by a separate written agreement, and your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 are not affected by these terms.
Intellectual property
The Drift name, the site's design, and its original content belong to Drift. Venue names, descriptions, and images belong to their respective owners. Please do not reproduce content from the site without permission.
Links to other sites
The directory links to venue and third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of sites we do not control.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Drift is not liable for any loss arising from decisions you make based on directory information. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under New Zealand consumer law that cannot be excluded.
Claiming or updating a listing
If you run a business we list (a venue, or another wedding supplier), you can claim your listing to correct details, add information, upload photos, or ask us to remove it. We review every submission before anything changes, and listing or updating is at our discretion.
When you submit photos or other content, you confirm you own it or have permission to publish it, that anyone identifiable in a photo has agreed to appear, and you give Drift permission to show that content on your listing on this website. You agree to cover Drift for any claim arising from content you submit. We may edit or remove any submission, and we will act on a removal request from the rightful owner.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
